PPA "Curtailment Allowances" are a principal component of a PPA contract. With good reason, Curtailments are a key metric in the valuation of a PPA yet they can be hard to quantify in daily operation. Let our tools find curtailments so you can focus on the big picture.
Curtailment management is a market metric that values the PPA in markets and for repower or sale. In the US West curtailments are a key metric of the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) EIM benefits report.
We use historical data to model anticipated PPA output taking into account season (wind and geothermal), irradiance and season (solar) and other factors, which improves accuracy of curtailment detection.
When a PPA is curtailed or simply not performing at the anticipated level, our systems can notify staff by email or text message depending on staffing and requirements.
Do more with less effort, using the data you already have.
